“Are you poptail curious???” That’s how artist/community organizer David Aguirre coined our second collaboration with he and his Dinnerware Arts Collective this past week. We set out to make cocktail-popsicles, to slake Tucsonans’ thirst during these dog days of summer. Between the three of us, we came up with a slew of off-the-wall flavors, and David let us use his super-cool food truck to distribute them!!! Thanks to all our loyal Monsoon Supper-goers and to all the new people we met as well.
We also had the pleasure of meeting one of Tucson’s awesomest bands: Vox Urbana. Rockin out to garage cumbia while hawking boozy popsicles for a good cause? Can this be our full-time job? (Please?)
